Highway 101 west of Lake Crescent has long gaps between stations, and Highway 112 has longer ones. A tank that looked fine in Port Angeles can empty well before Forks. This is the most common reason people are stranded out there with a car that has nothing wrong with it.
The fuel is billed at what we paid for it, shown on the receipt. We do not mark it up. The service price covers the driving and the delivery.
If the vehicle will not start after fueling, the problem was not an empty tank and there is no service charge.
What it costs
The Port Angeles price is $55 before travel, plus the fuel itself at what we paid for it. Driving within 10 minutes of Port Angeles carries no travel charge. Past that, travel is 90 cents for each minute of round trip driving, rounded to the nearest 5 dollars. If we cannot get you going, there is no service charge.
