Picking or bypassing the existing lock is the first approach when the hardware allows it. Drilling is a last resort. If destructive entry is the only reasonable option, we stop and explain the cost and replacement needs before touching the lock.
We ask for proof that you are allowed to enter. A photo ID with the address is simplest. If the ID is inside, a lease, utility account, mail, or confirmation from a property manager may help establish lawful access.

What it costs
The Port Angeles price is $75 before travel. Driving within 10 minutes of Port Angeles carries no travel charge. Past that, travel is 90 cents for each minute of round trip driving, rounded to the nearest 5 dollars. If we cannot complete the opening, there is no service charge.
