A key shut in the trunk is a different job from a key on the seat. Most vehicles are opened through the cabin and then through the rear seat or the interior trunk release, so the cabin is usually the real target.
Tell us the year, make, and model. Whether the rear seats fold, whether there is a cabin trunk button, and whether the trunk is electronically latched all change the approach and how long it takes.
Some vehicles have a valet lockout that isolates the trunk from the cabin release. If yours is one, we will say so on the phone rather than discover it in a parking lot.
We do not cut or program keys. If the key is lost rather than shut inside, say so first, because a different service is needed.
What it costs
The Port Angeles price is $65 before travel. Driving within 10 minutes of Port Angeles carries no travel charge. Past that, travel is 90 cents for each minute of round trip driving, rounded to the nearest 5 dollars. If we cannot complete the opening, there is no service charge.
